Derek Morris

Host, Hope Sabbath School and HCI Field Representative

Derek Morris serves as Field Representative for Hope Channel International, and host of Hope Sabbath School, an in-depth interactive study of the Word of God — broadcast worldwide on Hope Channel.

Born in England, his greatest joy is found in helping people to experience a life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.

He is married to Bodil Chen Morris, a family nurse practitioner. Their favorite hobby is writing Scripture songs together. Their songs are heard worldwide on the Hope Channel global network and numerous Christian radio stations

Lonnie Melashenko

Host, Hope Talks

Lonnie Melashenko is a premier speaker, musician, and author. The recipient of numerous awards for excellence in broadcasting, Melashenko serves as a world ambassador for the broadcast industry, his church, and his alma mater.

His work for ministry has spanned a wide array of mission-focused activities including radio, evangelistic retreats, pastoral work, medical missionary work, and more.

He is also the host of Hope Talks, a devotional program from Hope Channel, available on YouTube.

George Guthrie

Physician, AdventHealth

Dr. George Guthrie has a passion for health ministry in its various forms, including clinical practice and lifestyle change programs. Dr. Guthrie is both a charter member and previous president of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, a nationwide association of health care professionals focused on promoting lifestyle intervention for chronic disease.

He authored Eat Plants, Feel Whole and is passionate about bringing lifestyle medicine into clinical medicine, to change how medicine is practiced.

He teaches in the Family Medicine Residency of AdventHealth Orlando in Central Florida.

Season Cromwell

Host, Let's Pray!

Season Cromwell is co-host and producer on Hope Channel's Let's Pray, a global interactive prayer program. Her other areas of focus are voice-work, speaking to women of all ages, and sharing her testimony.

Season is passionate about being a wife to her husband Chris and mother to their son. She feels that in Christ radical transformation is possible, and desires to help others through the power of prayer.

Season will bring a dynamic and sincere time of prayer to your event as well as her expertise in hosting. Her unique and powerful story of transformation in Christ is a blessing to all who hear!

Ronnie Mills

Director, Fundraising

Ronnie Mills is Director of Fundraising for Hope Channel International.

Ronnie has held major fundraising positions at Voice of Prophecy, the American Diabetes Association, and Takoma Academy. Ronnie also has a passion for evangelism and the study of God’s Word.

He has been the featured speaker for a Revelation evangelistic series, conducted numerous bible studies.

He is an honors graduate of Andrews University and the Howard University School of Law.

Justin Kim

Host, inVerse

Justin Kim is the host of inVerse on Hope Channel, and co-founder of Generation of Youth for Christ (GYC).

Justin serves as the editor for Adventist Review Ministries at the World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has served as an overseas missionary, local church pastor, and director of multiple departments, most recently being the General Conference Associate Director of Sabbath School & Personal Ministries.

He studied theology and pastoral ministry at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary and has preached in more than 30 countries.

Christian & Heidi Martin

Hosts, Wake Up with Hope

Christian was born in Argentina, raised in the mission field and called to ministry at the age of 16. He began pastoral ministry after graduating from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee in 1999. He earned his Masters of Divinity in 2003.

Heidi was born in St. Joseph, Michigan and attended Andrews University, graduating with degrees in Social Work and Spanish. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Their hobbies include long distance running, outdoor adventurers and travel, but it is their passionate love for Christ that has blessed their audiences.

Oleg Kostyuk

Host, Cross Connection

Oleg Kostyuk is a Biblical scholar and professor of religion at AdventHealth University in Orlando, FL. His primary areas of interest include researching Jesus, world religions, spirituality, and the philosophy of emotions.

He is co-creator of Revolutionary, a ten-part documentary series that explores how the life of Jesus in the first century affects current issues of the twenty-first century. He is host of Cross Connection, a program on Hope Channel which focuses on deep study of the New Testament.

Oleg’s hobbies include endurance sports, marathons, ultra-marathons and Ironman competitions.

Michael G. Hasel

Tour guide, Hope Channel International Study Tours

Dr. Michael G. Hasel with his wife Giselle Sarli Hasel, a professor of art history, lead tours for Hope Channel International. Dr. Hasel is a professor and director of the Institute of Archaeology at Southern Adventist University. He has lived in Europe and the Middle East where he excavated and directed twelve different sites in Israel, Cyprus, and Jordan. The author of ten books and over 150 peer-reviewed articles, he has spoken on every continent, highlighting God’s works in history in a way that illuminates the authenticity of Scripture.
